What is a TCG?
Have you ever played and collected cards like Pokemon? Well, this is similar. TCG stands for Trading Card Game, the purpose of it is to trade cards with other members to complete your collection
About Midnight Tempest
Midnight Tempest is a TCG dedicated to all versions of Sailor Moon. We have 5 main categories, Anime, Manga, Sera Myu, PGSM and Other where a set doesn't fall into one of the previous 4, or falls into more than 1.
Midnight Tempest is designed for Firefox, but works in all major browsers. If something doesn't then let me know.
How do i become a member?
Becoming a member is easy. You need to have a valid email address. Once you have those, you can go onto the join page where you need to fill out the details there. You get a starterpack immediately, and it is also emailed to you.
What is a starter pack?
The starter pack contains cards that you can use. The starter pack includes 3 cards from the deck you choose on the join form (their not shown on the page though, you choose them yourself), 1 random special card and 5 random normal cards
If you enter "jadeite" in the comments field on the join page, you'll get an extra card.
How do i earn more cards?
You can earn cards by playing the games, taking part in competitions or other special events we hold. You can also trade cards to get the ones you need. When trading cards, you must trade worth for worth. So if you trade a total worth 0f 4 to someone else, your must get a total worth of 4 back. THe worth can be in any combination
What do i do when i have all the cards for a set?
Once you have all the cards for a particular set, you have mastered that set and therefore those cards can not be traded. When a set has been mastered, you don't have to display all 20 cards for it, you only need to display the master badge which can be found under the cards on the appropriate page.
When a set has been mastered, post here on the forum (the Masteries section) with the set you've mastered, what cards you'd like and what your next set you're collecting is and you'll get a reward.
Levels
This TCG has certain levels that can be reached. When you level up post on the forum (The Leveled Up Section) to receive your prize.
As you progress up through the levels, the next level gets harder to reach
Rewards
Here are the rewards that you can gain
Level Ups
2 Choice Normal, 2 Random Normal and 1 Random Special
Normal Mastery
2 Choice Normal, 2 Random Normal and 1 Random Special
Special Mastery
1 Choice Special, 4 Choice Normal, 2 Random Special and 3 Random Normal
Elite Mastery
1 Choice Elite, 2 Choice Special, 6 Choice Normal, 2 Random Elite, 3 Random Special and 6 Random Normal
Pending
This is the first level. It means you haven't posted on the forum in the introductions section. In order to not fill up the memberlist, this section is displayed on a separate page. Only the total amount of pending members is displayed on the member list
Level 1
At this level you will have between 1 and 50 cards.
Level 2
At this level you will have between 51 and 100 cards.
Level 3
At this level you will have between 101 and 200 cards.
Level 4
At this level you will have between 201 and 300 cards.
Senshi
At this level you will have between 301 and 500 cards.
Level 6
At this level you will have between 501 and 750 cards.
Level 7
At this level you will have between 751 and 1000 cards.
Level 8
At this level you will have between 1001 and 1250 cards.
Level 9
At this level you will have between 1251 and 1500 cards.
Level 10
At this level you will have between 1501 and 2000 cards.
Eternal
At this level you will have over 2001 cards
Referrals
You can refer your friends to play this game. When signing up they need to put your name as the referrer. When they do i will email your with your reward. The reward for referrals is 1 choice normal card and 3 random normal cards
Cookies
When you first join up, you are given 50 cookies. These can be used when buying from the mall. You can gain them when playing the games.
Coupons
Various things will give you coupons instead of cards. Below are the coupons you can get
Staff
There are several staff members here at Midnight Tempest. Below I will list them all.
- Desbrina - Overall Admin
- Lunix - Sprite Rewards, Doubles Swap and Thats Mine
- Blaze - Collect
All staff members can play in all games, even the ones that they update.
Rules
Trade Logs
Trade logs need to be kept showing what cards you go for doing what and on what date. i.e.
24 October - Traded my x for y with z
24 October - Got x from y game
Joining
Once you have sent the join form and sorted your cards out, post in the introductions forum so that you can be moved from pending to Level 1. You will then be given access to the members area found under edit details on the menu once you've logged in. From there you can sort out your cards
Cards
Different cards have a different worth. Normal cards (puzzle, scene and character) are worth 1, Special cards are worth 2 and Elite are worth 3.
Hiatus and not updating
If you have not updated your website for about a month, you will get an email from me asking if you still wish to be a member. If you email me saying yes then you will be left on the memberlist. If you say no, or i don't get a reply, after a month i will delete you.
If you don't want to quit, but current can't play, request to be put on hiatus, you wont be deleted if you are on hiatus, even after the 2 months. When you wish to play again, simple request that you get taken off hiatus
